Photographer's Diary
Sunday 23rd April - Morecambe by Bike
After failing to get a bit of sleep, Maggie persuaded me to take to our bikes and head to Morecambe. It was a lovely day and I was keen to get away from the computer. We set out via the maritime festival, but all was quiet and so we went on along the cycle path to Morecambe. The light was so good I couldn't resist getting some pictures along the way.
Arriving at Morecambe scenes unfolded one after another - the ice cream van seller, the two fat ladies running along the beach, the jetty buzzing with people and Eric Morecambe with the cowboy sat at the bottom. We went on to get some lunch and then to the Festival.
