Tom Birkett, sheep farmer moves his sheep through Overton village. The village of Overton stands on the Heysham peninsular. In the main, families here were involved with fishing and farming. There was even a boatyard that made rowing boats and smaller fishing boats and yachts for local buyers. Some of the houses in the village have architectural features that point to the 17th century.
