General Information

During the year 2000 D J Clark built a visual record of the Lancaster & Morecambe district using photographs and information submitted by those that feature in the pictures. The project was conducted in association with Lancaster Museum and has been archived for future generations to look back at the district at the turn of the new Millennium. Photographer's Comments

Lancaster suffers badly from traffic. On one day it took me over an hour to drive from Morecambe to Lancaster in normal rush hour traffic. Many calls for a new bye pass have been ignored to date by politicians who can not make up their minds how to solve the problem. These pictures were taken at various times in the year.
