Waiting for the finale at Lancaster University Last Night of the Proms. Tradition dictates at this event that the last song Rule Britannia is sung by a lady dressed in white holding her music draped in a Union Jack flag. From this (though not in this case) a common English saying "it is not over until the fat lady sings" is derived.
