Photographer's Diary
Tide and Time Festival - Morecambe
Grabbing an umbrella, I dashed from my car to the beach, it was chucking it
down. The festival was underway, a reasonable crowd had gathered but I was late
and getting in peoples way. I dashed onto the beach and proceeded to photograph
the processions as they reached me.
Running back for my tripod, I then set up with a couple of other photographers
and cursed the weather as we shot a drama, filled with fire and fireworks unfold
in front of us. It all made strong images but the conditions were poor and I
now await news of the success of the pictures.
